1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how LurraPay Inc. ("LurraPay", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://lurrapay.com (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally, and our Terms and Conditions.
We keep our cookie footprint deliberately small. We use only essential first-party cookies and cookie-free analytics, and we do not use tracking, advertising, or other non-essential cookies. Because we set no non-essential cookies, we do not ask for cookie consent; any banner you see is an informational notice, not a consent request.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site owner. We also use similar technologies, in particular browser local storage; in this policy we refer to all of these together as "cookies". We do not use advertising pixels, tags, or third-party software development kits (SDKs).
Cookies may be:
- First-party cookies, set by LurraPay, or third-party cookies, set by a provider other than LurraPay (for example an analytics or advertising provider). We currently set only first-party items.
- Session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them.
3. How we use cookies
We use cookies to operate and secure the Site and to remember your choices. We group them into the categories below. Under this policy's definition, the local-storage items we use are included as "cookies".
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These are essential for the Site and your account to work and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as signing in or dismissing the cookie notice. These do not require your consent.

3.2 Functional cookies
We do not set functional cookies. We use one first-party local-storage item to remember a display preference. If you do not allow it, the Site still works but will not remember this choice between visits.

3.3 Analytics / performance cookies
We do not set analytics cookies. We use Plausible Analytics, which is cookie-free: it sets no cookies, does not collect or store personal data, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not identify individual users. Because no cookie is set, no consent is required for analytics under ePrivacy and GDPR.
We also use Google Search Console to understand how the Site performs in Google Search. Search Console reports on aggregate search data (queries, impressions, clicks) and does not set cookies on your device to track individual visitors on the Site.
3.4 Marketing / advertising cookies
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies, and we do not build a profile of your interests. If we ever add them, we will update this policy and ask for your explicit consent before loading them.
4. Your choices and managing cookies
Because we set only strictly-necessary cookies and use cookie-free analytics, there is no category-based consent tool: there are no non-essential cookies to switch off. The notice you may see on your first visit is informational, and dismissing it simply records that you have seen it.
You can still control cookies and local storage through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them, and by clearing your site data. Most browsers explain how in their help section (for example, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Blocking or deleting the strictly-necessary cookie will break sign-in and other core features.
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Plausible respects browser Do Not Track signals, and, where required by applicable law, we honour recognized opt-out preference signals such as GPC for the purposes of opting out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. 5. Third-party cookies
We do not set third-party cookies on the Site. Some features give you access to services provided by our Licensed Partners (Iron and MoonPay), for example identity verification; those partners' own sites and embedded flows may set their own cookies under their own privacy and cookie policies, which we do not control. We disclose these partners in our Privacy Policy.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. We will post the updated version on the Site and update the "Last updated" date. If we ever add a non-essential cookie that requires consent, we will ask for it before loading the cookie.
